Preparation of vehicles

The service developed consists of preparing vehicles leaving the factory and preparing them to prevent damage during transportation to the customer.

The cars reach the facility when passed by the Final Inspection Workshop. First of all, they are commercially assessed and then different tasks are performed depending on each model, market and destination:

• Fitting of covers, semi-covers and sheeting on hubcaps on finished cars from VW Navarra depending on model. Semi-covers for the annual production and complete covers for cars for Japan.
• Change of wheels on Polo Cup Edition. Replacement of steel rims for final-customer delivery, low-profile rims.
• Specific tasks are performed on cars for the Autostadt market, such as cleaning the inside of the vehicle, leaving the boot case accessories in place (hubcaps, first-aid kit, cap, bolts, carpets, warning triangles, reflective jacket and stickers) and inspecting tyre pressure.
• Cars for the Japanese market are cleaned inside and out, the cover is fitted and the keys are left in place. Complete covers and sheeting on hubcaps are fitted for protection during transportation.

In order to carry out all of these jobs, the ISN Group implements an exhaustive employee selection process. Those selected are then trained in order to prepare vehicles for perfect transportation.
