Shot-blasting and Sand-blasting booths:
ISN uses shot-blasting and sand-blasting to clean
painting tools which cannot be exposed to high
temperatures. This technique is performed in
booths in which duly-equipped operators use
compressors which blast metal or sand particles
depending on the part in question.
Manufacture of Painting Tools:
In this way, ISN is able to attend all of its
customers' requirements throughout the life of
the tool from manufacture and maintenance
to gauging, stripping and logistics. Customers
pay a proportional price for the use of each part,
the tools being offered through leasing or renting,
thereby allowing customers to balance costs and
cut investment.
Tool Repair and Balancing:
In addition to cleaning, our plants also repair and
adapt painting tools. ISN's workshop includes a
welding section to repair tools which have deformed.
Chemical Stripping:
Painting processes generate a relatively high
percentage of parts rejected at quality control
due to paint faults. These parts are melted down,
injected and painted again or directly disposed
of.
ISN has developed a paint elimination process
which strips the parts with chemicals without
damaging the basic material.
The parts are returned to the customer clean and
ready for the paint tunnel. At present, no other
supplier can provide a service of this kind at
industrial level. The process helps cut costs by
reducing the number of rejects. The production
of waste is also reduced by recovering parts
which would previously have been disposed of.
In order to comply with our Environmental Policy
and current legislation, the installation is fitted
with gas suction, washing water and chemical
stripper treatment systems. The chemicals used
are free of chlorine, amines and phenols.
