Fluidised Bed:
The Fluidised Sand Bed is a tank of sand which
works at a temperature of 300 to 420ºC.
The sand starts to move when it reaches the
specified temperature thanks to compressors
which inject air and gas into the bottom of the
tank.
The friction of the sand against the parts gradually
eliminates any paint remains adhered
to these. The organic material is absorbed whilst
any gases emitted are burnt in the tank's afterburn
chamber.
We have begun treating aluminium parts with
outstanding results.
A study performed at the laboratories of the
University of Navarra indicates that the material
is not deformed in any way.
Pyrolysis Oven with After-burn Chamber:
This system is used for hard paint (i.e. when it
is made with components which may harm the
environment) in order to ensure the nonemission
of volatile compounds.
The oven is a thermal, non-combustion oven.
The oven maintains a constant temperature of
400º C which rises to 900º C for 2 seconds in the
After-burn Chamber. When the set temperature
is reached, a water spray is released inside the
oven to prevent the part from catching fire and
to reduce the emission of polluting gases.
When the basket is removed from the oven, the
operator verifies that there are no areas on the
part which have not been burnt. Following the
cooling process, the part is fired to end the
process.
The operator then visually checks that all of
the part has been cleaned evenly and has not
deformed.
