Cryogenic Cleaning

The cryogenic cleaning division, the fruit of a joint venture with the multinational PRAXAIR, world leader in gas manufacture and supply, came about as a result of ISN's efforts to offer the latest technology in cleaning.

In addition to employing conventional cleaning tools, ISN is at the avant-garde in the use of state-of-the-art technology such as sweeperscrubbers. vacuum cleaners, pressurised-water machines, backpack vacuums, electric systems, elevated platforms, etc.

Cryogenic cleaning uses DRY ICE (solid Carbon Dioxide) and compressed air. Characteristics of Dry Ice:

• Inert
• Odourless
• Non-flammable
• Non-toxic
• Is not a conductor
• No humidity
• Does not damage junction boxes
• Can be used on any surface
• Ideal for the Technical Cleaning of delicate components

This is a high-precision system with bactericide properties which uses a machine which fires pellets at -80ºC with compressed air. The hardness of the ice is between 2 and 3 mohs. The pressure of the compressed air is between 6 and 10 bar.

It does not leave additional waste. The method reduces the consumption of chemicals and does not generate any waste.
